MS Autos provides both warranty and post-warranty Seat Alhambra servicing at our workshop in Reading. All Alhambra servicing is carried out to Seat specifications; we provide a Full or Interim service depending on what the manufacturer servicing schedule recommends for your vehicle and of course, we carry out all the checks that may be required to comply with your warranty.

We have dealer diagnostics to ensure that any issues are isolated quickly and accurately and that any parts or oils that we use are of manufacturer-approved quality. Essentially, the Seat Alhambra service that we carry out at MS Autos is the same as you’d get at the dealership – it protects your Seat warranty – and on top, we promise more personal service and more reasonable prices.

  • Check handbrake and footbrake travel
  • Check operation of controls and switches
  • Check spare tyre for damage/depth/pressure
  • Check vacuum pipes
  • Check wiring and components
  • Lubricate door hinges and catches
  • Remove all wheels
  • Replace air filter (if required)
  • Replace brake fluid (if test failed) (additional service at extra cost)
  • Replace fuel filter (if required)
  • Replace gearbox oil (additional service at extra cost)

  • Body: check painted surfaces with open lids and doors and also underneath the vehicle for damage and corrosion
  • Brake pads/linings: check thickness
  • Brake system: check condition of brake hoses, check protective caps are fitted to the bleeder screws
  • Components on front and rear axles: check play, firm seating and damage
  • Cooling system: check frost protection and coolant level and correct as necessary (frost protection: specified value -25 °C / measured value °C
  • Dash panel insert: check warning lamps
  • Door hinge with separate arrester: clean and lubricate
  • Engine oil: drain
  • Engine oil: fill up to oil norm VW 508 00 Filling quantity 7.6 litre
  • Engine oil: renew oil filter
  • Engine, gearbox, final drive and steering: visual check for leaks and damage
  • First-aid kit: check expiry date

  • Mileage channel: reset to next due additional measure or inspection
  • Plenum chamber and water drain valve: check for soiling
  • Rear left wheel: check condition, tyre rolling direction and wear pattern of tyre; check tread depth
  • Rear right wheel: check condition, tyre rolling direction and wear pattern of tyre; check tread depth
  • Seat belts: check fitting of latch plate, buckle and the blocking system in the automatic belt retractor
  • Service interval display: reset inspection with oil change service (flexible)
  • Spare wheel: check condition and wear pattern of tyre; check tread depth
  • Time channel: reset to next due additional measure or inspection
  • Tyre on spare wheel: check tyre pressure and adjust as necessary
  • Tyre pressure control display: store revised tyre pressures
  • Tyres on front axle: check tyre pressure and adjust as necessary
